Making gifts and art for friends and loved ones fills my soul, both during creation and from their smiles when they receive them.

Art Con

For 20 years, Dallas nonprofit arts group Art Conspiracy hosted ArtCon. Annually, they selected 100 local artists to create an original piece which was auctioned off during a night of celebration. This original piece fetched one of the top dollar amounts for the charity.

Family Art

My youngest created this birthday card for me. Later that year, my wife and I worked together to create her cute animal family, which represented us. We tried to capture her style in monster clay and then poured resin versions for Christmas gifts for the family for my daughter to gift.

Fun Stuff

When I left college and started working professionally in the early 90's, all my creativity was poured into my products, leaving no energy for personal art. When I met my wife 20 years later, she encouraged me to make art for art sakes again. These are some of the things I created for myself over the last few years.

Art Show

All of my friends are artists, and they often host art events, most for charity. This piece was created for a Foundation 45 event, with the proceeds from sales supporting mental health of local artists in Dallas. I don't often create art with social commentary messaging; this is very much a statement piece aimed at some of the things which have been on my mind at the time of its creation.

Highschool & College

My love of nature was ever present in my earlier work, and I was on a path to work as a full-time art professor painting trees. That would have been my reality if video games industry had not sidetracked me.
