Counter Strike: CZ

Creative Director / Core Design

Branding

As the Creative Director for Ritual, I led branding creation for Counter Strike: Condition Zero, designing box art and product identity that honored the iconic PC universe while appealing to a broader XBOX console and retail audience. Visual elements reinforced the franchise’s authenticity, clarity and instantly recognizable style, helping build atop its status as the world’s premier multiplayer game with a singleplayer experience.

Marketing & Press Support

I directed press and advertising campaigns, magazine covers, and press materials that positioned Condition Zero with impact and credibility across media channels. The campaigns highlighted the game’s competitive classic tone with a remastered visual identity. I hope was to stay true to the IP while creating imagery that resonated with fans of Counter Strike.

On Counter Strike: Condition Zero, I took on brand management for one of the most influential IPs ever created by Valve Software.

I contributed key art, packaging, and overall brand presentation across both PC and XBOX releases, helping translate a PC-first phenomenon into a broader retail and console audience. Working within an already iconic universe, my role focused on clarity, authenticity, and respect for the core identity of Counter Strike.

The visuals in this game were possible because of the great art talents of J. Hawkins (Concept Artist), R. Singhal, J. Hosfelt, J. Sallenbach, C. Tinney, N. Pappas, S. Hornback, R.  Fleider, W. Johnson, K. Tucker and the Valve Software branding team. It was an honor to lead them.
