Star Trek: Elite Force II

Branding & Key Art

As the Creative Director at Ritual, I contributed to branding creation, key art, and box art direction for Star Trek: Elite Force II. When working on a beloved rebrand like Star Trek, respecting the legacy of the IP while giving it a bold, modern presentation was always on the minds and hearts of the developers.

With that, the visual identity created supported one of Ritual’s most complete shipped titles, holding true to the IP and our studio’s style.

Gameplay Direction

The level designers allowed me and Jay Hawkins to play in their sandboxes, we supported environmental gameplay visuals storyboarding out sequences throughout the levels, ensuring clarity, immersion, and strong visual storytelling throughout levels.

Press Support

As the Creative Director at Ritual, I lead the efforts to support magazine covers and press materials with branded visuals and assets designed for editorial impact. This helped position Elite Force II prominently across gaming media.

Star Trek: Elite Force II was Ritual Entertainment’s most complete game shipped, and a defining moment for the studio. I contributed to building the team and played a role in both branding and gameplay design, working closely with artists and designers throughout development.

Leading from the trenches, I witnessed—and supported—the incredible output of a concept-driven art bullpen that became legendary inside the studio. This team went on to help create some of the world’s biggest franchises, and Elite Force II stands as a testament to what strong leadership, collaboration, and respect for an iconic IP can achieve.

The visuals in this game were possible because of the great art talents of J. Galloway, P. Richards (Concept Artists), J. Hawkins (Design Concepts), K. Thompson, R. Singhal, J. Jones, K. Tucker, J. Hernandez, J. Martinez, K. Wright, P. Jones, W. Johnson, R. Hood, C. Tinney, D. Demaret, G. Frye, M. Jackson, R. Fleider, S. Hornback, T. McEntyre, D. Ancira, B. Lippert, J. Hosfelt, K. Steele, D. Hart, D. Massicotte, J. Sallenbach, M. Porter, R. Miller, S. Maines, Y. Allaire, M. Tarwater, N. Pappas, Eric Smith and J. Halderman. It was an honor to lead them and they were amazing.
